I worked for more than 10 years as a family law and general practice attorney handling divorce, bankruptcy, juvenile, and child custody matters.  I represented hundreds of Family Law and Divorce Clients in court.

My academic degrees include:

  1. Bachelor of Science (B.S. in  Psychology and Biology);
  2. Juris Doctor, (J.D. or law degree);
  3. Masters Degree (M.S.) in Medicine with a major in Physiology; and
  4. PhD (Doctorate) in Human Social Social Behavior.
  5. I am currently a Board Certified Life and Relationship Coach Candidate with a top school in the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

In 2004 circumstances led me to begin working in academic research and in no time I had returned to school and graduated with a Masters and a PhD.

For another 10 years I was a student and then a professor teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students at various Colleges and Universities in Southeastern Michigan.

I have more than a dozen academic publications on a range of subjects including personality disorders, borderline personality disorder (BPD), antisocial personality, mental health, neuroimaging, alternative medicine, nutrition, health, and wellness.

My book on how to save a low sex marriage is probably my crowning achievement as an academic Scholar.

I will always remember that my legal and academic education and experience is only useful because it is in service to my Clients.  As your coach I will never forget that you are the expert on your life who knows the answers and that my job is to help you find your goals and achieve them.

That look the love of my life gives when she is quietly respecting local customs and knows the picture is going to end up on the internet

My wife is a strong independent Christian woman and we have been married for more than 25 years.  Our family includes 3 children, 3 dogs, 2 leopard geckos and a fluctuating number of cichlids, piranha and parrot fish in the 90 Gallon survivor tank.

Shelie is a lawyer and a Certified Public Accountant with 16 years of fortune 500 corporate experience and 5 years of big 4 public accounting experience as a tax manager.

She looks well after the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.  While we have had our share of struggles, including the loss of a baby in 2004, I sing her praises and am pleased to call her blessed. Her children do as well.  As the Good Book teaches:  Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised.
